Submersible pumps are used if the water source is a deep well. It can be used for both farming and residential uses. A submersible pump is called so because the pump is submerged under water and pushes water to the surface. Its advantage is that it can prevent pump cavitation, a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and fluid surface
